PFW Lanvin - Jean Paul Gaultier S/S 2013

LANVIN

Alber is always outstanding. I might not like everything
that he designs, but I always find quite enough favorites to
like Lanvin.
This collection was quite dark, but by the end of the collection
usual Lanvin colors walked down the runway and I believe that
devoted fans didn't get disappointed.
I liked all those embellishments and big bows. Very nice collection!

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER

Well, this was quite a show! Madonna, Annie Lenox, Boy Gorge,
Blondie, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Grace Jones and ABBA were definitely
a huge influence in the 80's and that's the era that has inspired Jean Paul to
create this collection.
I think that it was a cool show, fun for everyone, walk down the
memory lane, but I didn't see many pieces that made sense or that somebody
would like to wear. There were some fantastic, typical JPG pieces, but
the rest... It was just a big circus for the audience.

PFW Isabel Marant - Christian Dior S/S 2013

ISABEL MARANT

This designer's name is one of my favorites. Every PFW
I'm looking forward to see the new collection and I never
get disappointed. This collection was influenced by Elvis Prisley
and his style, fashion style but I believe the music style too, because
both were so unique back in time.
Mixture of Elvis, rock n'roll and usual Marant boho vibe this collection
is another success and one of these collections which I would love to
have in my closet.

CHRISTIAN DIOR

I don't want to waste much time commenting on Raf Simons's work
for Dior because since John Galliano was kicked out from the position
of the main Dior designer, Dior died for me.
This collection is just another proof to me that there won't be somebody
with such a magnificent vision as Galliano's in a very long time to come...
Maybe never.
This collection was pile of crap.
