Outfit post - Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Yep, officially the first snow fell last night in Helsinki and everything
looks so white and pretty when I look outside my balcony.
I've been downtown and shopping for Christmas presents, but I haven't
managed to buy all of them, so next three days will be all about that :)
Some really great sales are going on in the city, so I'm gonna try not to
go to crazy since we have trips coming end of the year and
in the beginning of the next year.
We have also decided to go to Stockholm for a short trip in a couple of days,
so I can't wait to go to Laduree for the 1st time. It's not the same as visiting
the Paris or New York one, but I've been wanting to try their macaroons, so
this Stockholm one will do it for now :)
Photography is now on stand by for a little while, until I get everything prepped
for the next two photo shoots, so nothing new or exciting about that matter, yet.
Oh and another, totally girly and random thought, I have started to use
Maroccan Oil shampoo, conditioner and oil and I'm so impressed! Those products
are doing wonders!
I'm wearing: Boots - Unisa, Jeans - Diesel, Kimono - Winter Kate, Bag - Zara,
Cardigan - St.Tropez, Black top - Esprit, Bracelets - Zara, Beanie - Lindex,
Necklace - COS

Naked truth
About a week ago I've noticed that a lot of finnish bloggers had posts
titled "Naked truth" and I got very interested to see what it was all about.
Main point of "Naked truth" posts is to show the bloggers with their "real" faces,
without make up, photoshop, without their hairs done, etc.
I love this idea, so I have decided to do the same type of the post. I'm not doing this
just because "everybody" is doing it, I have never been the person that follows
somebody/ something, but I'm doing this first of all to send a message to all the
girls out there that we're all special and beautiful in our own way.
In these modern times, it's very easy to loose the true beauty, natural, the one we
were born with.
In times of hair extensions, fake eyelashes, colored eye lenses, scalpels, botox,
wrong vision of what's beautiful, photoshopped magazine covers, etc. it's very important
to remember that we're all special and beautiful to someone, but most importantly
we should be beautiful to ourselves whenever we see our face in the mirror...
I used to have huge self esteem problems and I still am fighting with them, but
not as much as before and I'm more and more accepting myself as I am, because I am
beautiful, I have a heart huge as Mt. Everest and soul wide as sky and that can be
seen through my eyes. I have little wrinkles around the eye area and mouth area which
only shows that in these past 25 years of my life, I have lived, I have laughed, loved, cried,
"died" and was born again... I wouldn't trade all of this for one photoshopped cover photo.
Here's MY NAKED TRUTH! Me, early in the morning just after the shower, no creams on,
no make up on, no photo shop, about 3 sleepless nights in the row and no dry hair :D

Outfit post - I see red
I'm writing this post while sitting on my sofa and watching "Frosty
the snowman" with my daughter. Also, at the same time I can see our
neighbor putting up their Christmas lights on the balcony.
My man is just preparing us favorite warm winter drink and that's Glögi (mulled wine).
I'm totally feeling very Christmas-y and festive! I love the magic feeling that
Christmas brings every year. Next week is reserved for shopping of Christmas
presents. It will be an interesting hunting time, since I still have no idea what to
get to my loved ones.
Our London trip is back on, just that we're not going when we have originally
planned to, but I'm happy about this because among other fabulous things, I'll have
a chance to buy the costumes for my next two photo shoots and I have found a perfect
store in London that sells exactly what I need :)
I'm very much looking forward to finishing the last two photo shoots and putting my
photos in print. It's such an amazing feeling and surreal moment that I'm already
very excited. To stay more updated about my photography like my FACEBOOK PAGE
Have a great weekend everyone!

Being thankful...
Everybody remembers at least once a year to be thankful for
something and for majority of people it's today. Happy Thanksgiving
everyone and I hope that you're all being safe and happy with your loved
ones in the coziness of your home :)
Me... I'm thankful every single day! Some days I remember to be more
thankful, some days less, but not a day passes by that I'm not thankful
for something or someone in my life.
Now, I had pretty tough times in my life many, many times and I still
am going through them in different ways. I'm thankful for all of the things
I've done wrong because they made me wiser and more careful. I'm also
thankful for all of the things that I did do right, they've brought me the most
amazing "gifts" one can ask for in life.
I'm mom to the most beautiful and sweetest little angel girl in the world and
am proud wife, great sister and good daughter. All those people make me
feel like the richest person in world.
I'm also thankful for all the people that have left my life in this way or another,
it has all happened for a reason and my better being.
I'm thankful for the talent and passion for photography! I have never felt more
sure of what I want to be in my life as when I found out that being a professional
art photographer is my calling.
I'm super thankful for a chance to exhibit my photos and show them to the world...
I could go on and on and on with my "thankful" list, but it would take many more
posts, therefore I'll still say that I'm thankful for having this blog and YOU dear
readers which make me very happy and your support in form of your sweet comments
means a lot to me.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Outfit post - I was made for loving you
Today was such a pretty and sunny day! It was very chilly, but
I have soaked in every sun ray while I was shopping downtown
with my sister.
I got new mascara by Giorgio Armani - "Eyes to kill" and it's fantastic!
It's my favorite mascara right now, it totally does this "wow" effect
when I put it on my eyelashes.
My sister got some nice package of strawberry washing gel and body butter
from Body shop.
It's pity that she has to leave back home to Croatia tomorrow and I won't
see her for the next three months, but time will fly by fast I believe :)
I'm starting to put up the Christmas presents list today and what I have
in mind for the family members. I hope to get some cool ideas, it's sometimes
tough to come up with so many fabulous present ideas every year, but I'll
figure them out :)
At the same time, I've been selling my daughter's old clothes at near by children's
2nd hand shop, figuring out next 2 ideas for my last two photo shoots before
I have to book them and shoot them, etc.
Busy times, but just perfectly in time before the holidays, then I'll relax and be
super lazy :)

Outfit post - MMM
New designer's collection for H&M came out yesterday! This time
it was Maison Martin Margiela and this was the most artsy and asymmetric
collection H&M has ever seen.
Personally, my favorite pieces were shoes, bags and one grey blazer which
I bought and am wearing it in today's outfit post.
It's absolutely gorgeous and I needed to have it!
This day haven't started off well, I have a sore throat, haven't slept much in
3 back to back nights and have huge pain in my lower back, but maybe it will
end up by having lots of fun and a great night out, since me, my sister and my man
are going to check two shows in the city.
I hope that everyone is going to have a great weekend, starting this evening :)

Outfit post - A Wall
Hello dear readers!
It's been very cloudy/ gloomy day outside, almost the whole day
has been quite dark and it feels as if it's evening all the time :O
Definitely something that I wasn't prepared for when I moved to
Helsinki 5-6 years ago.
We had to postpone our London trip to next year due to my man
being too busy, but we're going to Moscow right after the New Year's.
If you didn't know, I was born in Moscow back in '87. and I'm very
proud to have russian roots :)
My grandpa (from mom's side) is sick and is very old, so this might be
my last chance to see him... It makes me sad, but also happy and thankful
that I still get to see him soon.
I often think about growing old and how life flies by so fast. Every year,
seems to fly by faster and faster, it's crazy.
Because of that, I have decided to live my life to the fullest and try not to
take it too seriously, but have fun while living.
Taking life too seriously isn't good for anyone, because you'll miss all of
the fun and end up being frustrated. Been there, done that.
On the brighter note, I'm starting to make the Christmas presents shopping list.
I have quite couple of presents to buy to people I love, so I wanna make sure
to get the best ones, before they get sold out.
Have you started or are planning to start shopping for Christmas presents?
I'm wearing: Boots - Mjus, Jeans - Diesel, Shirt/ scarf - Zara, Ring - Bijou Brigitte,
Bag - Rebecca Minkoff, Parka - Mango, Headband - Asos, Necklace - HOH1960

Bunch of photos I've collected on my phone through past two weeks.
We've celebrated Father's Day here in Finland yesterday and we did
that over a lunch at viking themed restaurant "Harald".
It's so worth the visit and it was a perfect choice for a special day like
yesterday.
Where and what to shop for Christmas presents post coming tomorrow,
stay tuned and thank you for all of the comments and support that you show
me on daily basis, I appreciate it very much!
