Outfit post - Exile

Good morning everyone!!
I've been waking up super early for a week now and the best thing about
it is to enjoy the silence before the whole day kicks off and I have to do
all of the usual errands/ chores.
The sun is shining this morning which usually means that wonderful day
is coming so I'll most possibly spend most of it outdoors.
It's great to finally have Spring weather in Helsinki and the whole city looks
so much more beautiful without any snow and dirt which were here for
way too long this winter.

I'm just in the middle of getting all the papers sorted out for my US visa and
the only thing that is missing is photos, so I'm just heading downtown to get
them and schedule my appointment for visa interview.
I'm soooo excited about August and my 1st trip to New York!! I'll document
everything on my blog, but more about that later on.

2nd birthday!!

On this day 2 years ago I have decided to start documenting my
outfits and share my interest in photography, fashion and decor as well
as some glimpses of my everyday life captured via Instagram.
I have never meant for this blog to have this many readers/ viewers and
comments. I'm so, so thankful for all of you who are supporting me and
enjoy sharing your opinions with me.
Thank you for being interested in my photography as well and for always
being so kind towards me. I have never received a single bad comment and
that just shows me how dedicated and sweet readers I have.

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY L'ART OF FASHION!!  :)))

Today is a rainy day so I don't have many options than to go for a Froyo
with my daughter later on and have mini "celebration" of this day!

Outfit post - Celine

Finally some sun and warmth have reached Helsinki.
All of the snow has melted away and I have finally put my
winter boots away and brought out my favourite ballerinas and
sneakers.

Couple of posts ago I have mentioned that I've been thinking of buying
myself a really good, quality bag and have asked you for your opinion on
which one would you choose.
I was dwelling a lot between Givenchy and Celine, but in the end this
beautiful black trapeze bag won over and now it's mine.
It's so spacious, has numerous zippers and is such a classic which fits
with all the clothes and shoes I have in my wardrobe.

I just came back from a nice walk outside on the fresh air and have
soaked up sun energy so I'm sure I'll have a lot of energy for the beginning
of new week tomorrow.

Visit Helsinki - restaurant Farouge

Today was a very nice day! The sun was shining and I ate
a very delicious lebanese food for lunch.
Fairly new restaurant in the city centre named Farouge serves
fine dining lebanese food and their versatile menu offers plenty
of options for everyone from vegetarians to those who are meat
eaters to those who are all the time craving something sweet :)

If you're visiting Helsinki and fancy some "exotic" food I can
highly recommend Farouge.

Outfit post - The road

It's been quite gloomy and rainy weather for the last couple of days...
I'm longing for the sun and can't wait for the warmer weather, but I have
learned to appreciate the rain and find an inspiration in it too.

I'm in the middle of all the paperwork that is needed to be collected before
my interview for US visa and I have to book my hotel in NYC today for
my stay there in August, so if you're a New Yorker or if you've been to
NYC before please leave me a good tip which hotel is worth spending money on/
staying at. I'm right now checking out Manhattan/ Union Square ones, but I'm willing
to check some other areas too...

Today was once again gym day and most possibly another "staying in" kind of
day since it's been raining almost the whole day.
Maybe I'll just sit at the balcony a little bit, look at the sea and get lost in my own
world looking for new ideas for the soon upcoming photo shoots...

Outfit post - Unspoken

Hello dear readers!
I would like to take a moment and thank you for visiting my blog
and leaving me comments, it means a lot to me because you're all
so sweet and nice and it feels great to know that there are bunch of you
out there in every part of the world relating to my posts weather it's
clothes I'm wearing, cosmetics I'm using, Instagram posts with bits of
my every day life or my photography.

I've continued going to gym 3 times a week and it has helped me to
feel better mentally and physically.
I've done lots of soul and purpose searching in past 5 years and I feel that
I'm slowly reaching perk in this part of growing up.
There's always more to learn, I prefer to think that we're learning throughout
our whole life, but right now I feel I'm slowly reaching the place I want
to be at mentally.
Of course, I have lots of dreams and wishes where I want to be professionally,
but that's a whole another story.
It's funny how growing up is... At first you don't even get how much you're
growing up in every way and then one day you wake up and realize how
much more wiser, different and aware you are than you've ever been before.

Today was a super simple day, did some small shopping and had pizza/ flat
cleaning day.

Choices, choices...

After working hard for over a year, creating my, 2 weeks ago closed
solo exhibition, it's time to treat myself with something nice, something
that I want and something that will last for years.
I'm talking about bags, girl's best friend if you ask me :)
I've been checking stores in Helsinki and on line shops too and offers
are endless. There're so many beautiful bags out there and I want to pick
the perfect one :)
