MFW Missoni - Salvatore Ferragamo S/S 2013
MISSONI
Next year, Missoni is celebrating 60 years long tradition
of passion for fashion, design, fabrics... Yep, this is one of
the most lasting designer names out there.
I believe that there was a pressure to deliver a bit different,
innovative collection exactly because of this big mark in
Missoni name, but in a way I feel that Angela got lost in wanting
to create something new and went too far from the familiar Missoni
and so well known zig-zag patterns.
There were some really lovely pieces, but most of them were "weird"
and I couldn't connect them with Missoni, even tho all white ones
are Missoni and not everyone knows that, but the rest... Not so much.
SALVATORE FERRAGAMO
Unlike Missoni, Salvatore Ferragamo's collection for next
Spring/ Summer was outstanding. I got the feeling that this collection
was perfect for a rock chick meets business woman.
Wonderful collection with lots of leather, fantastic trench coats, over the
knee boots and very cool looking metallic pieces.
I would wear every single piece in my everyday life, that's for sure!
