Outfit post - I love Karl

On my last week's trip to Zagreb, I did some shopping and this
sweatshirt is one of the things I got for myself.
MrSteve is the name of the brand and they make fun/ sarcastic
great quality t-shirts and sweatshirts. My sweatshirt says "I love Karl"
as in Karl Lagerfeld, but there were other sweatshirts at the store
with "Without Yves", "Prada not war" and similar quotes.

This necklace is from croatian jewellery designer Sovilj and I fell in love
with it right when I saw it!

This is the outfit which I wore yesterday to meet with my sister over a lunch,
where we have discussed all the upcoming photo shoots and details around
them. I've made some online orders for a costume that should come soon.
I can't wait to use it for the next photo shoot!

This day started pretty energetic! I was already at the gym so I'm in a
good mood and am ready for the weekend. I have tons of things to do,
including cleaning the flat and finally buying some new furniture because it's
been pretty empty for a while now, it's starting to get annoying :)

Have a great weekend everyone!!

I'm wearing: Boots - Vagabond, Jeans - Diesel, Top - Isabel Marant for H&M,
Jacket - Lindex, Bag - Zara, Sweatshirt - MrSteve, Necklace - Sovilj

Outfit post - Jolie Petite

Well hello Wednesday!
You definitely came fast :) I have tons of errands to do and
every day is filled with stress, but everything is easier to handle
when I start my morning with a workout at the gym which is what
I did this morning.

Right now I'm in the middle of scouting for the props, models and
locations for the upcoming 7 photo shoots which I will have to do
until the mid of April and then the photos will go in print.
The exhibition in Helsinki will happen in the beginning of May. I will
keep you posted more about the dates in case that any of you will be
in Helsinki then.

My new official website is now open and you can check more about my
works by visiting http://natalikarppinen.com
Let me know what you think of it :)

I'm now off to the furniture store to hopefully shop for some new furniture.
We threw away all of the old furniture after the renovation since they were
SO old ( we are talking something like 11 years old ) and they totally don't fit
the decor style I've imagined for our flat.
When everything is ready and in place, I will share with you some snippets
of my home :)

Have a great day everyone!!

I'm wearing: Top - Jolie Petite ( Croatian designer ), Jeans - Diesel,
Blazer - Mango, Bag - Celine, Boots - Tommy Hilfiger, Bracelet - Shopbop,
Ring - Deni design

Outfit post - Dirty Diana

Good early Monday morning!
I woke up quite early today, because I'm dropping off my daughter
at the kindergarten and then I'm going straight to the gym.
Morning gym time is always the best, at least for me. I always have
the most energy and motivation in the morning and a good workout always
sets my day in the right tone.

My weekend was all about unpacking my suitcases from the trip to Zagreb
and washing/ drying tons of clothes which have piled up in last 10 days.
I hope that your weekend was more fun and interesting than mine :)

I've been wearing this outfit over the weekend and I loved it! It's so comfortable,
but also fun outfit to wear while it's cold and dark outside.
The necklace is new in from Zagreb and I can't get enough of it!

I have tons of things to do today so I better get going. Have a lovely beginning
of the new working week!

I'm wearing: Boots - Steve Madden, Pants - See by Chloe, Knit - Zara,
Coat - By Malene Birger, Necklace - Diana Broussard, Bag - Celine

Zagreb diary - Days 3&4

My short but lovely trip has come to an end and tomorrow
is the time to go back home to a super freezing Helsinki.
I haven't missed that crazy cold at all, but I'm happy to go back
home, finish the renovation (finally) and start decorating and organising
the apartment.

Last two days were such a blast in Zagreb! I went to numerous places
and have been walking for hours and hours. I can definitely feel it in
my legs now :)
I have checked out National theatre, cathedral, famous St. Mark's church
and Croatian parliament, Museum of broken relationships ( the coolest place
ever ), Stone gate, etc.
When it comes to food, I didn't know that Zagreb has such an amazing
array of wonderful restaurants. There's everything for everybody!
I have enjoyed eating my lunch at restaurants Carpaccio and Kisha, as much
as I did enjoy in my deserts at Aida and Amelie cake cafes.

I was happy to meet some very dear people like my old friend, my brother
and his girlfriend. It was so much fun to share great feeling/ moments with them.

I hope that you had a great week as well! Life is so precious and I have realised
on this trip that a day wasted into nothing is a big loss.
I have made a promise to myself to start doing at least one new/ exciting thing
every day.

Good night everyone!

Zagreb diary - Days 1&2

Hello everybody!
Here's a little diary and breakdown of first two days spent in Zagreb.
I've been travelling most of the 1st day, so big part of the trip was all about
spending time in the air and at the airports.
I've found a new favourite lunch place at Frankfurt airport - Deli Bros.
They make delicious and fresh food which was perfect for me since I never
eat the airplane food.

When I finally arrived to Zagreb, it was already late in the evening, but I had
time to take a small walk around the hotel and get my favourite fresh cheese
filled pastry at the bakery nearby. It's a "must" for me every time I'm visiting
Croatia.

Yesterday (2nd day) was a very active day and it flew by in a second.
The morning started early with breakfast at the hotel and then visit to the
local police station to get my new passport.
Waiting in the line took forever, but I got it done and now I'm calm for the next
5 years.
After I took care of that, I went to visit one small concept store - Nicolas which
has some cool designers which I can't find back home in Helsinki.
I finally got the long wanted Diana Broussard necklace and can't wait to wear it
today.
A short walk from the Nicolas store lies well known market square Dolac where
I got some fresh fruits.

When it was lunch time, I have decided to go to the vegetarian/ vegan restaurant
Bio bistro Zrno. All of the food was mouthwatering and so healthy!
I can warmly recommend you this place if you're visiting Zagreb.

Some more walking around and small shopping happened afterwards and the
evening ended in going to the bakery once again and getting those delicious
fresh cheese filled pastries :)

I just woke up and am ready to embrace this day and am excited about all of the
things I have planned to do today.

Have a great Wednesday dear readers!
